Online Shop
The online shop at www.compaksouth.com is only able to accept orders from UK customers.
Prices
All prices are shown in British Pounds Sterling including 20% VAT, as required on all orders in the European Union. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Payments
Online payment can be made using Solo, Switch, MasterCard, UK Maestro and Visa credit/debit cards via a secure, encrypted payment system.
Cancellations
Orders may be changed or cancelled at any time during the online ordering processes up to the point when payment is made. To cancel an online order after payment has been made please contact the sales office immediately to arrange a refund. A £5.00 administration charge will be deducted from any refund due.
Delivery charges
Accurate delivery charges will be shown in the shopping cart once all items have been added and the delivery address confirmed. Delivery charges are based on the following:
Free delivery for all orders of £250 (incl. VAT) and over to delivery addresses in England, Wales and parts of Southern Scotland. Free delivery to these areas will be applied to your order automatically when you reach the final checkout.
Delivery charges for lighter items eg. plastic containers and lids to UK delivery addresses
£7.50 for 4 packs or less
£10.00 for 5-7 packs
£20 for 8+ packs
Delivery charges for heavy items eg. glass jars and bottles
£7.50 for 1 box
£10.00 for 2 to 3 boxes
£15.00 for 4 to 5 boxes
£20 for 6 or more boxes
These
delivery charges apply to addresses in England, Wales and parts of Scotland
A delivery surcharge of £2.50 applies to the following postcodes:
TD, KA, ML, KY, FK, G, DG
Orders with a combination of light and heavy items will be charged at the heavy items rate for all boxes.
Delivery Times
We aim to deliver goods within 3 working days from date of order. However, we cannot be held liable for any delays due to circumstances beyond our control. Our couriers deliver between 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Special deliveries outside of these times can be arranged - a surcharge applies. Please contact the office to arrange a special delivery..
Delivery Terms
Goods are despatched via courier service or an independent haulier and in both cases a signature is required upon delivery. However, goods can be left as instructed at time of order at the owner’s risk. In this case, Compak will not be held responsible for lost or damaged goods.
Non Deliveries
In the event there is no-one available to receive the order, the courier will leave a card asking you to contact the local depot to arrange another delivery. However, deliveries redirected to a different address will incur a redirect charge. If a courier has had no response from a calling card the goods will be returned to Compak after 3 - 5 working days. If redelivery is requested after this, customers will be required to pay the additional carriage cost.
Rejected Goods
Customers who believe their order is damaged upon delivery must reject the goods with the courier at time of delivery. Upon the goods being returned to Compak for inspection damaged goods will be replaced immediately free of charge. If the goods are found not to be damaged, the customer will be charged for the redelivery.
Claims
Shortages or rejections not apparent at the time of delivery must be digitally photographed and reported to the office within 3 working days upon receipt of goods. If Compak are held responsible for a claim we will replace the goods free of charge.
Refunds
If goods are not fit for the purpose as described we will refund the item in full. Refunds are paid to the account used to make the original payment.
Returns
Where goods have been supplied in accordance with the purchase order, but the customer finds the products to be unsuitable, the customer must contact Compak within 7 days of receipt to agree a return. Once agreement has been made, the customer may return the item(s) in the original packaging at their own expense. Upon receipt of the goods if they are in original condition a refund or exchange will be processed. Goods returned without prior agreement are liable for non-acceptance and will be held at the customer's risk. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Liability
Customers are responsible for ensuring the fitness and purpose of goods are to their requirements.
Availability
All items on the website are sold subject to availability – if after you submit your order the goods are not available, we will offer you an alternative product of equal or greater value, or we will issue a full refund for the out of stock item.

Whilst we do our utmost to ensure the product information, pictures and prices are correct, we do not accept liability for inaccuracies, errors or omissions.
